High Temp Video Borescope Inspection:
Time is money, especially when it comes to power generation. However, if there is a cumbustion tubine question who wants to risk running the turbine until the next scheduled outage? Bringing a turbine down in order to borescope it takes hours, and more hours for it to cool down enough to not damage the video borescope. In order to perform the required inspection more quickly use a cooling sleeve in conjunction with the video scope. Cooling sleeves are available for 6mm and 8mm video borescopes in lenghts up to 6 meters. Standard cooling protects the video probe up to 600 degrees F, custom cooling can protect the video borescope up to 2000 degrees F.
