Stub Sill Inspection:
A critical component of rail tank car required inspections is the integrity of the Stub Sill. Remote visual inspection of the stub sill using a video boroscope provides a way to perform the visual inspection while minimizing damage to outer shell of car. Used with a guide tube the borescope can easily be positioned to inspect the entire weld seam. Store images and videos directly to an SD card for inspection documentation.
